Job Announcement: The Orange County Public Law Library (Santa Ana, CA) is looking for an experienced, energetic Library Assistant II. The Library Assistant II performs a variety of duties in support of the law library: circulation, reference, book shelving, loose-leaf filing, and a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility including circulation duties and providing legal reference assistance to patrons. Act as Saturday Supervisor when he is absent. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about standard library circulation procedures and basic ready-reference law resources in print and online.

This is a full time position (40 hours per week). The hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm, Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, starting salary at $40,185. Friday 8:00 am to 4:55 pm

Saturday 9:00 am to 4:55 pm

Sunday closed

Public computers are unavailable from 8:00 am to 9:30 am every Wednesday for routine maintenance.

No annual fees will be charged for 2015.
